Onyx UK Limited approached Calahans to provide 50 industrial services operatives, please see list below of skilled operatives that were provided throughout the shutdown.

- Vessel Entry Controllers (VEC)
- Ally Mac Operators
- Confined Space Entry Cleaners (CSE)
- Fire Watchers
50 operatives were supplied for an 8 week period; the shutdown was successfully completed with no accidents or incidents from the labour that Calahans provided.
TEI Technical Services approached Calahans on a days notice to supply up to 30 grinders. Within 24 hours, the Calahans team had not stopped working, 30 guys were on the site and ready to work. All their documents for Nuclear clearance was in place as well as their living accommodations.
The workforce successfully completed the work by the end of the deadline and due to the skilled nature of our operatives, they were kept on for a further month to carry out the re-tubing of the condenser steam pipes.
Following this job TEI were so impressed by our grinders they moved them onto Alcan and Medway Power Stations.
